Tuncsel Ulku is a London-based advertising photographer and videographer, working at the intersection of visual storytelling, design, and commercial production. As the founder of IMAGO Photo & Video Ltd, he has been creating high-end photography and cinematic content for brands since 2009.

Specialising in food and gastronomy, hospitality, interiors, products, automotive, and luxury-focused visuals, his work is defined by a refined aesthetic and a strong understanding of brand identity.

From Engineering to Visual Storytelling

Originally trained as an engineer, Tuncsel transitioned into photography driven by a deep passion for visual creation. He further developed his creative approach through design education, combining technical precision with artistic direction. This multidisciplinary background continues to shape his work today. Blending problem-solving with aesthetics to create purposeful and impactful visuals.

Editorial Roots & Commercial Evolution

Tuncsel began his career shooting for magazines, building a strong visual foundation across multiple disciplines. His editorial work includes publications such as Elle, Elle Decor, Formsante, Homes & Gardens, Gusto, Taste, and Maison Francois.

Over time, he expanded into advertising photography and videography, collaborating with global brands and agencies. His commercial portfolio includes projects for Audi, Zipcar, Caterpillar, Petronas, Mobil, Beko, Grundig, Oral-B, Absolut, Jim Beam, and La Vache Qui Rit.

Tuncsel approaches each project as both a creative and strategic challenge. His work goes beyond capturing visuals, it focuses on creating content that aligns with brand positioning and communicates effectively with its audience.

Based in London, Tuncsel works with clients across the UK and internationally. Outside of his professional work, he draws inspiration from music and movement. Particularly 80s hard rock and snowboarding, both of which influence his sense of rhythm, energy, and storytelling.
